Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index HK:HSI +1.06%  closed with a 1.1% gain, rising 245.22 points to 23,340.10. The Shanghai Composite Index CNHCOMP +0.24%  finished up 0.2%, rising by 5.24 points to 2,193.78.
