Epic Research Singapore : U.S Market Update

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 AU:XJO +1.63%   jumped 1.6%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index HK:HSI +1.24%   rose 1.4% and Japan’s Nikkei JP:NIK +1.23%  rose 1.3%.

The yen USDJPY +0.21%  softened slightly early Friday, as the dollar added to its overnight 0.8% rise against its Japanese counterpart. The greenback last traded at ¥98.39, compared with ¥98.16 late Thursday in New York.
