Benchmark U.S. crude oil for January delivery CLF4 -0.27% fell 36 cents, or 0.4%, to $95.08 a barrel, giving back a portion of the contract’s 1.7% advance in Thursday’s session on the New York Mercantile Exchange.“Crude-oil prices are trading marginally lower today, weighed by profit-booking,” ICICI Bank analysts wrote Friday, citing better-than-expected weekly U.S. jobless-claims numbers as supporting prices the previous day.
