February crude oil CLG4 -0.02% edged up 6 cents, or 0.1%, to $100.38 a barrel in choppy electronic trading.
Prices on Friday climbed 77 cents, or 0.8%, to close at $100.32 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, after the U.S. Energy Information Administration reported a fall of 4.7 million barrels in crude supplies for the week ended Dec. 20.
