In other energy trading, January natural gas NGF14 -1.65%   fell 7 cents, or 2%, to $4.28 per million British thermal units, pulling back after a 5.8% gain last week.

January gasoline RBF4 +1.03%   rose 1 cent, or 0.2%, to $2.64 a gallon, while January heating oil HOF4 +1.63%   advanced 1 cent, or 0.3%, to $2.99 a gallon.
