The Australian dollar AUDUSD -1.0202% bought 90.64 U.S. cents, dropping from 91.33 U.S. cents following the Australian government’s report that gross domestic product expanded 0.6% in the third quarter from the second quarter. Economists had expected growth of 0.8%.
