Crude for February delivery CLG4 +0.60% rose 77 cents, or 0.8%, to settle at $100.32 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, for a 1% gain on the week. On the other hand, gasoline for January delivery RBF4 +0.04% declined by less than a penny to settle at just under $2.82 a gallon after trading higher for most of the day.
