Epic Research Singapore : Hang Seng Update

The Hang Seng Index HK:HSI +0.01% rose 0.4% to 23,335.50, and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index gained 0.4%. Property shares advanced, with Sun Hung Kai Properties Ltd. HK:16 +0.31% SUHJY -0.16% picking up 0.4%, Sino Land HK:83 +0.19% SNLAF -8.55% rising 0.8%, and Hang Lung Properties Ltd. HK:101 +0.83% HLPPY -0.83% up 0.4%. Elsewhere, Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd. HK:293 +1.11% CPCAY +1.33% advanced 0.5%, as the Hong Kong-based airline said Friday it ordered four additional airplanes from Boeing Co. BA -0.99% valued at approximately $1 billion at current list prices. On the mainland, the Shanghai Composite Index CN:SHCOMP -0.18% flipped 0.2% higher.
