Nike Inc. NKE +0.22%  takes the mantle as the first blue-chip component to report quarterly earnings after Alcoa Inc AA +1.49%   was dropped from the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Nike is scheduled to report its quarterly results on Thursday.

Oracle Corp. ORCL -1.10%  and FedEx Corp. FDX +1.14%  also report results next week.
