Epic Research Singapore :STI drops to 3,053.7

THE benchmark Straits Times Index yesterday dropped 12.25 points, or 0.40 per cent, to close at 3,053.77.

The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index lost 0.32 per cent, while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index slipped 0.12 per cent.

Among the top actives, SingTel lost 0.28 per cent, DBS added 0.12 per cent, UOB lost 0.89 per cent, Keppel Corp was down 1.30 per cent and OCBC decreased 0.41 per cent.

Of the outperforming sectors, the FTSE ST Consumer Services Index added 0.17 per cent. Of the two biggest stocks, Genting Singapore added 0.01 per cent and Jardine Cycle & Carriage was flat. Agencies
