THE Straits Times Index increased 11.07 points, or 0.36 per cent, to 3,127.29, taking the year-to-date performance to 1.26 per cent lower.

The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index gained 0.62 per cent while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index firmed 0.39 per cent.

Among the top active stocks, Vallianz added 15.09 per cent, Keppel Corp gained 1.46 per cent, DBS slipped 0.06 per cent and Charisma Energy jumped 4.23 per cent.

Singapore Telecom rose 0.56 per cent to S$ 3.60 while vehicle distributor Jardine Cycle and Carriage edged up 0.14 per cent to S$ 35.36. Agencies
