Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJH4 +0.27%  put on 45 points, or 0.3%, to 16,226, while those for the S&P 500 index SPH4 +0.40%  picked up 7.30 points, or 0.4%, to 1,821.80. Nasdaq 100 futures NDH4 +0.59%  rose 24.50 points, or 0.7%, to 3,556.75
