Epic Research Singapore : Key index falls 1.36pc

THE Straits Times Index fell 43.18 points, or 1.36 per cent, to 3131.47.

The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index declined 1.01 per cent while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index declined 0.31 per cent.

Among the top actives, HanKore added 1.71 per cent, SingTel lost 1.64 per cent, DBS dropped 0.70 per cent, UOB fell 1.51 per cent and Keppel Corp dropped 1.52 per cent. CapitaLand eased 1.33 per cent to S$ 2.98.

Of the outperforming sectors, the FTSE ST Utilities Index added 1.19 per cent.

Of the two biggest stocks, United Envirotech gained 3.18 per cent and Hyflux fell 0.43 per cent. Agencies
