In other metals trading, May copper HGK5, -0.02%  lost a penny, or 0.3%, to $2.75 a pound. July platinum PLN5, -0.27%  climbed $22.60, or 2%, to $1,166 an ounce, while June palladium PAM5, +0.02%  added $13.55, or 1.8%, to $748.85 an ounce.
