MARKET UPDATES :
- The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 7.99 points or 0.24% higher to 3340.93, taking the year-to-date performance to – 0.72%.
- The top active stocks today were Singtel, which gained 1.17%, Global
Logistic, which declined 0.40%, UOB, which gained 0.39%, Noble, which
closed unchanged and Jardine C&C, with a 2.23% fall.
- The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index declined 0.23%, while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index declined 0.24%.
- The outperforming sectors today were represented by the FTSE ST Telecommunications Index, which rose 1.12%.
- The two biggest stocks of the Index – Singtel and StarHub – ended 1.17% higher and 0.76% higher respectively.
- The underperforming sector was the FTSE ST Utilities Index, which
slipped 2.56%. China Everbright Water shares declined 3.78% and SIIC
Environment Holdings declined 5.23%.
- The three most active Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) by value today
were : DBXT CSI300 ETF (-2.18%) , Lyxor China H 10 (-4.15%) , United SSE
50 China ETF (-0.73%)
- The three most active Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) by value
were : Ascendas REIT (+0.41%) , CapitaLand Mall Trust (+0.92%) ,
Mapletree Gcc Trust (unchanged)
- The most active index warrants by value today were :
