The 10 Biggest FTSE ST Small Cap Index Stocks are Trusts

As at the end of June, the 10 biggest constituents of the FTSE ST Small Cap Index are Trusts – six real estate investment trusts, three business trusts, and one stapled trust – with a combined index weighting of 32.4%.

The 10 biggest constituents trade at an average price-earnings ratio of 16.0 and have an average indicative dividend yield of 7.0%. In the year thus far, they averaged a price gain of 4.0% and dividend-boosted returns of 8.4%, bringing their one-year and three-year average returns to 10.6% and 52.0% respectively.
The five best performers among the 10 largest constituents year-to-date were First Real Estate Investment Trust, Ascendas India Trust, Soilbuild Business Space REIT, Frasers Commercial Trust, and Keppel Infrastructure Trust.
