Olam Internationa surges 8.9% to $2.08 a share after it says Mitsubishi Corp. is taking a strategic stake in the company.
Rival Noble Group is up 5.8%.
Ezra Holdings meanwhile, gains 14% after announcing that it had signed a deal to sell a 50% equity stake in its main subsea services division.
Other movers include Jardine Cycle & Carriage and City Developments falls 0.3%.
Magnus Energy is flat at 1.2 cents and Cordlife Group rises 0.4% after the firms report their financial results.
