In other energy trade, January natural gas futures NGF16, +1.44% rose 19.9 cents, or 9.8%, to $2.228 per million British thermal units, for the highest finish since Dec. 1.January gasoline futures RBF6, +0.28% fell 3.17 cents, or 2.5%, to $1.2326 a gallon.
