In other metals, high-grade copper for March delivery HGH6, +0.69% lost 1.4 cents, or 0.7%, to finish at $1.959 a pound, hovering around six-year lows for the industrial metal.Meanwhile, March silver SIH6, +0.28% lost 11.5 cents, or 0.8%, to settle at $13.87 an ounce. Elsewhere on Comex, April platinum PLJ6, -0.08% was $7.70, or 0.9%, closing at $838.60 an ounce, while March palladium PAH6, +0.60% sank $4.5, or 0.9%, to end at $469.80 an ounce.
