Koh Brothers Eco Engineering secures $35.4 mil worth of contracts

Catalist-listed sustainable engineering solutions provider Koh Brothers Eco Engineering has secured contracts worth about $35.4 million in the financial year ended Dec 31, 2015.

The company’s Oiltek Subsidiaries and its Singapore division contributed $23.9 million and $11.5 million worth of contracts, respectively.

The Oiltek Subsidiaries are engaged in bio-refinery and bio-energy projects in Asia, Central America and Africa.

Since its acquisition by Koh Brothers Group, Koh Brothers Eco has been restructured. As at Nov 30, 2015, the company’s outstanding order book stands at approximately $48.8 million.

Out of the outstanding order book, the Oiltek Subsidiaries have approximately $31.4 million worth of contracts covering a range of edible oil refinery and fractionation, multiple feedstock biodiesel and palm oil mill effluent biogas plants.

The remaining $17.4 million order book comes from the group’s Singapore division, which recently bagged an $8 million maintenance of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) equipment contract for PUB’s Changi Water Reclamation Plant.

Shares in Koh Brothers Eco ended 11.11% higher at five cents on Jan 19.
