Natural gas futures NGN16, +0.00% on Nymex fell 0.6 cent, or 0.2%, to settle at $2.468 per million British thermal units, a day after rising to a seven-month high. A switch from coal to natural gas by electric utilities and long-range weather concerns helped lift natural gas in recent weeks.Nymex reformulated gasoline blendstock RBN6, +0.65% —the benchmark gasoline contract—rose 3.27 cents, or 2.1%, to end at $1.6198 a gallon. July heating oil HON6, +0.54% rose 2.9 cents, or 1.9% to close at $1.5705 a gallon—its highest finish since Oct. 9.
