Elsewhere in metals trading, July platinum PLN4 +0.11%  rose $2.10 to $1,450.50 an ounce, while June palladium PAM4 -0.34%  lost $3.60, or 0.4%, to $812.90 an ounce. 

High-grade copper for July delivery HGN4 +0.12%  didn’t budge at $3.05 a pound.
