MARKET UPDATES :
- The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 5.28 points or 0.16% higher to 3316.5, taking the year-to-date performance to -1.45%.
- The top active stocks today were Singtel, which declined 1.14%, DBS,
which gained 0.48%, Global Logistic, which gained 0.41%, UOB, which
gained closed unchanged and Keppel Corp, with a 0.25% advance.
- The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index gained 0.15%, while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index rose 0.04%.
- The outperforming sectors today were represented by the FTSE ST
Utilities Index, which rose 0.79%. The two biggest stocks of the Index –
China Everbright Water and SIIC Environment Holdings- ended 2.84%
higher and 1.11% higher respectively.
- The underperforming sector was the FTSE ST Technology Index, which
slipped 1.18%. Silverlake Axis shares declined 1.99% and STATS ChipPAC
remained unchanged
- The three most active Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) by value today
were : IS MSCI India (+0.26%), Nikko Am Singapore STI ETF (+0.59%), STI
ETF (+0.30%)
- The three most active Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) by value
were : Ascendas REIT (+1.22%), CapitaLand Mall Trust (+0.94%),
CapitaLand Commercial Trust (-0.33%)
- The most active index warrants by value today were :
HSI26400MBeCW150828 (-15.20%), HSI25400MBeCW150828 (-16.19%),
HSI23000MBePW150828 (+2.04%)
- The most active stock warrants by value today were : UOB MB
eCW151001 (-3.45%), SGX MB eCW160105 (-5.26%), UOB VT eCW150915 (+4.65%)
