CEFC International has partnered CEFC China Energy Company, a Fortune Global 500 company, to exclusively manage the latter's overseas procurement and supply activities of energy-related products.
These include crude oil, refined petroleum products, petrochemical products, LPG, natural gas and other related commodities.
The partnership falls under a framework cooperation agreement signed on Tuesday by CEFC International and CEFC Shanghai International Group, a subsidiary of CEFC China.
The agreement shall last for one year with an automatic annual renewal thereafter, unless otherwise terminated by both parties.
CEFC International expects the partnership to bring "substantial" trade flow and improve its turnover and profit growth, among other benefits.
The counter ended lower at 28 cents on Monday, down 0.5 cent or 1.8%.
