Back on Nymex, December gasoline RBZ5, +0.29% ended nearly flat at $1.371 a gallon, while December heating oil HOZ5, +0.14% finished 1.2 cents, or 0.8%, lower at $1.477 a gallon.December natural gas NGZ15, +0.52% fell 7.1 cents, or 3%, to $2.30 per million British thermal units.
