SINGAPORE shares rose at the opening on Friday, following gains in Asian stocks, with the Straits Times Index adding 17.19 points to 2,783.85 as at 9.05am.
Gainers outnumbered losers 77 to 40, after 36.9 million shares worth S$53.7 million had changed hands.
Among the to-traded stocks in the early-morning trading were Magnus Energy, HPH Trust and Cedar Strategic.
