Gold futures settled higher on Thursday, rebounding after posting declines over the past three trading sessions. Traders awaited Friday's U.S. monthly employment report for cues on gold's direction. February gold GCG4 +0.30% rose $3.90, or 0.3%, to settle at $1,229.40 an ounce on Comex.
