Natural gas for February delivery NGG14 +1.07% rose 5 cents, or 1.1%, to $4.35 per million British thermal units as parts of the U.S. experienced their coldest weather in decades.
Meanwhile, February gasoline RBG4 +0.13% gained 1 cent, or 0.2%, to $2.66 a gallon, and February heating oil HOG4 +0.31% rose 1 cent, or 0.3%, to $2.95 a gallon.
