Wall Street was set to end the week largely unchanged, outside of a roughly 1% gain for the Nasdaq Composite Index COMP -0.50% . Stocks finished lower on Thursday after downbeat news from Best Buy Co. BBY -8.95% and a couple of big banks. The S&P 500 SPX -0.39% lost 2.5 points, or 0.1%, to end at 1,845.89, retreating from its record closing level reached on Wednesday.
