April platinum PLJ4 -0.23% PLJ4 -0.23% PLJ4 -0.23% PLJ4 -0.23% shed $30 to $1,450.40 an ounce, while June palladium PAM4 -0.01% lost 45 cents to $743.40 an ounce.

High-grade copper for May delivery HGK4 -0.14%  was flat at $3.20 a pound.
