Epic Research Singapore : Comex Market Update

Crude oil for March delivery CLH4 +0.44% rose 76, or 0.8%, to settle at $97.19 a barrel after losing 1.1% on Monday to close at $96.43, the lowest closing level for a most-active contract since Jan. 27, according to FactSet data.

Analysts polled by Platts were looking for climbs of 1.5 million barrels each for crude and gasoline inventories for the week ended Jan. 31. Distillate supplies were expected to fall by 2 million barrels.
