York Mercantile Exchange. Tracking the most-active contracts, oil
futures gained around 0.4% on the week and saw a 5.2% monthly rise.
Oil’s move higher on Friday was also likely due in part to prices gaining some traction in sympathy with the firmer S&P 500 SPX +0.28% and weaker U.S. dollar DXY -0.63%.
