U.S. crude-oil futures extended their losses in electronic trade Thursday, though London-traded Brent crude managed to advance. Crude oil for April delivery CLJ4 -0.37% fell 44 cents, or 0.4%, to $101.01 a barrel, extending Wednesday's 1.8% drop. Brent crude for April UK:LCOJ4 +0.15% , however, rose 18 cents, or 0.2%, to $107.94 a barrel, shaving a fraction off its 1.4% loss the previous day. April gasoline RBJ4 -0.02% held steady at $2.94 a gallon, while April heating oil HOJ4 -0.19% slipped close to a penny, or 0.2%, to $2.99 a gallon. Natural gas for April delivery NGJ14 +1.53% rallied 6 cents, or 1.2%, to $4.58 per million British thermal units ahead of weekly U.S. nat-gas inventory data due later in the day.
