The lackluster demand for stocks, combined with geopolitical jitters,
has been a boon for gold bugs, with the precious metal posting gains for
four sessions in a row, and with a fifth on the way should Friday’s
upward momentum hold.
Gold for April delivery GCJ4 -0.15% rose another $3.40, or 0.3%, to $1,375.80 an ounce in electronic trade, while May silver SIK4 -0.06% SIK4 -0.06% added 7 cents, or 0.3%, to $21.27 an ounce.
