Palladium, meanwhile, saw prices
settle at their highest since August 2011, based on the most-active
contracts. Gains for the metal were fueled by ongoing worries about
supplies from key producer Russia. June palladium PAM4 +1.67% rose
$14.50, or 1.8%, for the session to end at $806.80 an ounce, up 2% for
the week.
