since Feb. 26, according to FactSet. The euro had dropped below $1.37
after a German newspaper reported the European Central Bank had modeled one trillion euros of bond purchases.
The ICE dollar index DXY -0.06% , which pits the greenback against six rivals, edged down to 80.432 from 80.454 late Thursday. The WSJ Dollar Index XX:BUXX -0.25% , an alternate gauge of dollar strength, fell to 73.48 from 73.66.
The British pound GBPUSD -0.11% fell to $1.6579 from $1.6599 in the prior session. The Australian dollar AUDUSD +0.65% rose to 92.87 U.S. cents from 92.32 U.S. cents.
