July platinum PLN4 -0.74%   shed $7.50, or 0.5%, to $1,445.20 an ounce, while September palladium PAU4 -0.45%   fell $2.05 to $833.60 an ounce.

High-grade copper for July deliver HGN4 +1.46%  added 3 cents, or 1%, to $3.15 a pound.
