Forex Market Update : Epic Research Singapore

The pound GBPUSD -0.07%  climbed to  $1.7144, up from $1.7088 late Monday, according to FactSet data. Against the euro GBPEUR +0.01%  , sterling appreciated to €1.2635, from €1.2543 Monday.

The ICE U.S. Dollar Index, a measure of the greenback’s performance against six currencies, was at 80.3850 Tuesday, compared with 80.1880 late Monday. The WSJ Dollar Index XX:BUXX +0.12%  , a measure of the dollar against a basket of major currencies, was up 0.1% at 73.00.
