New York-traded crude-oil futures on Thursday settled at their lowest since late January, while London’s Brent ended at its lowest in 13 months.
crude for delivery in September CLU4 +1.74% lost $2.01, or 2.1%, to end at $95.58 a barrel on Nymex. That was crude’s lowest settlement since Jan. 21.
September Brent crude on London’s ICE Futures exchange fell $2.27, or 2.2%, to $102.01 a barrel. That was Brent’s lowest settlement since June 26, 2013.
