Crude-oil futures ended higher Wednesday, rebounding from losses tied to a surprise increase in U.S. supplies.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, light, sweet crude futures for delivery in September CLU4 -0.25% settled at $97.59 a barrel, up 22 cents, or 0.2%. Oil futures have been up for four of the past five sessions. They are down 0.6% so far this month.
September Brent crude UK:LCOU4 -0.46% on London’s ICE Futures exchange gained $1.26, or 1.2%, to end at $104.28 a barrel, also in a reversal from early trading. That snaps a three-session losing streak.
