In afternoon trading, the dollar was at 102.86 yen, up slightly from ¥102.79 late Wednesday. The euro was also little changed at $1.3388, down from $1.3397.
The ICE U.S. Dollar index DXY +0.04% was at 81.4460, up from 81.4320 Wednesday.
The Canadian dollar CADUSD -0.12% was up slightly at 91.73 cents Thursday, from 91.68 cents Wednesday evening.
