Heating oil for October delivery HOV4, -0.15% fell 2 cents, or 0.8%, to $2.5619 a gallon. Heating oil for the same month’s delivery HOV4, -0.15% was off 1 cent, or 0.4%, to $2.8094 a gallon.
Natural gas NGV14, -0.41% for delivery in the same month bucked the trend, up 8 cents, or 2.2%, to $3.8760 per million British thermal units. Futures snapped a four-session losing streak.
