May natural gas NGK15, +0.47% fell 9.8 cents, or 3.7%, to $2.536 per million British thermal units, pressured by “relatively slack seasonal demand” that is expected to allow above-average storage increases in the weeks ahead, according to Citi Futures’ Tim Evans.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, May gasoline RBK5, -0.15% tacked on less than 0.1% to $1.9315 a gallon, while May heating oil HOK5, -0.03% ended at $1.877 a gallon, down nearly 0.3%.
