In other metals trade, July platinum PLN5, -0.91% rose $32, or 2.9%, to $1,153.40 an ounce, while June palladium PAM5, -0.73% advanced $12.20, or 1.6%, to $782.45 an ounce.May copper HGK5, -0.56% rose 2.2 cents, or 0.8%, to $2.77 a pound, while July copper HGN5, -0.59% ended at $2.777, up 2.4 cents, or 0.9%.
