SINGAPORE share prices opened lower on Tuesday morning with the Straits Times Index (STI) down 5.16 points or 0.15 per cent to 3,510.69 at 9.09am, following Monday's decline on Wall Street.
Top gainers in early morning trade included DBS, Great Eastern and IHH.
Some 135.1 million shares worth S$131.2 million changed hands, with gainers outnumbering losers 103 to 96.
