THE Straits Times Index (STI) slipped 1.27 points, or 0.04 per cent, to 3,452.48 as at 9.01am on Monday on the back of a decline in US stock futures on weak jobs data released on Friday.
Among the most active stocks on the Singapore bourse as at 9.03am were Ellipsiz, up 4.3 per cent or 0.6 cent, at 14.7 Singapore cents; APAC Strategic, up 2.13 per cent or 0.1 cent, at 4.8 Singapore cents; SingHaiyi, up 2.5 per cent or 0.4 cent, at 16.7 Singapore cents; and Tigerair, up 2.9 per cent or one cent, at 35.5 Singapore cents.
A total of 69.6 million shares worth S$75.5 million had changed hands as at 9.01am. Gainers outpaced losers, with 81 stocks up versus 40 down.
