In other metals trade Thursday, July platinum PLN5, +0.16% fell $21.10, or 1.8%, to $1,140.40 an ounce, with prices based on the most-active contracts down around 0.3% for the month. June palladium PAM5, +0.35% lost $8.25, or 1.1%, to $776.50 an ounce, with prices up 5.6% for the month.July copper HGN5, +0.12% rose 8.75 cents, or 3.1%, to $2.887 a pound, with prices for the most-active contracts up more than 5% for the month.
