Platinum prices edged up on Monday. July platinum PLN5, -0.97% rose $9.40, or 0.8%, to $1,178.50 an ounce. June palladium PAM5, -1.24% shed $1.95, or 0.3%, to $793 an ounce.July copper HGN5, +0.14% fell 1.8 cents, or 0.6% to $2.9065 a pound.
