In other metals trade, July platinum PLN5, +0.25% fell $27.60, or 2.3%, to $1,150.90 an ounce, while June palladium PAM5, +0.63% lost $17.85, or 2.3%, to $775.15 an ounce. July copper HGN5, +0.07% fell 6.9 cents, or 2.4%, to $2.8375 a pound.
