In other metals trade, July platinum PLN5, -0.46% fell $4.80, or 0.4%, to $1,111.50 an ounce—down over 2% for the month, while September palladium PAU5, -1.09% lost $8.50, or 1.1%, to $777.10 an ounce, up about 0.2% for the month.July copper HGN5, -1.17% fell 4 cents, or 1.4%, to $2.728 a pound, losing around 5.5% for the week.
